Sept. 28, 2016 Traffic Advisory: Two ongoing projects in Grand County
Two separate Denver Water excavation projects in Grand County are expected to cause traffic impacts on National Forest System Road 128, also known as Water Board Road, during the week of Oct. 3.
Lane adjustment will allow crews to replace an aging underground vault.
Sept. 15, 2016 Meadow Creek Reservoir drained for inspection, upgrades
The reservoir, which is currently about 30 percent full, will be lowered to about 6 percent full within the first two weeks of October.
Aug. 29, 2016 Dillon Dam Road temporary closure
On Wednesday, Aug. 31, Dillon Dam Road/County Road 7 will be closed from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. for routine maintenance work by Denver Water and Summit County Road and Bridge Department.
The Greenway Foundation and Denver Water announce a pledge drive to help the river.
Aug. 24, 2016 Waterton Canyon weekday closure
Beginning Sept. 6, 2016, Waterton Canyon will be closed Mondays through Fridays through November while crews complete repairs to the High Line Canal diversion structure in the South Platte River. The canyon will be fully open to recreation on Saturdays and Sundays during this time.
July 12, 2016 Gross Reservoir open
Denver Water has reopened Gross Reservoir to public access following a one-day closure because of its proximity to the Cold Springs Fire in Boulder County.
July 11, 2016 Gross Reservoir closed
Gross Reservoir is closed to public access until further notice.
